Letting AI agents build automation workflows from a chat message
We forked the open-source n8n workflow engine so that AI agents could create automation workflows from a single chat message.

The context
Workflow builders are powerful but slow to configure by hand. Teamupai's goal was to let a user describe what they want in chat and have an AI agent produce the workflow.
What I did
- Revamped and expanded n8n's codebase to match a new product design.
- Added new workflows and the ability for users to create their own AI agents.
- Worked across the Vue frontend and the Node.js, TypeORM and Postgres backend.
